Release Notes

Sept-26-2009 Update: Updated with 1.8.5; fixed a couple issues with Armory XML queries for Arena teams that was causing HTTP-500 Errors
Aug-3-2009 Update: Updated with 1.8.4; fixed a couple bugs in the Armory Parser DLL

This release focuses on cleaning up the character page and adding some usability to the codebase. It builds upon the database changes made in 1.7.1 (dual spec) and adds some features folks have been asking for over the past couple months since 1.7.1 came out.

1.8.2 list of changes (July-25-2009):
  • Completely refactored the character entry page - enjoy!
    • Showing melee/defense, ranged, and spell data based on class
    • Showing spell power type based on class
    • Displays both specs for dual-spec characters, and places a check next to the active spec
    • Added about 30 new images for stats
    • Most of the labels can now be localized if someone wishes to
    • By default, most of the character entry display uses the skin's CSS entries
    • If the character doesn't PvP, that section isn't shown at all
    • If no alt/main character data is available, it isn't shown at all
    • Page now shows alts on alts, not just main characters
  • Armory parser changes to pull additional data
    • Pulling PvP stats
    • Pulling haste stats (weapon and spell)
    • Properly pulling spell crit rating and spell power stats
  • No longer pulling or displaying reputation data
  • Added buttons to force a refresh across the roster and for specific characters
  • Bumped up pause between XML data pulls to 7 secs (5 secs seemed to not be long enough...I was getting error 500's more frequently from WowArmory than I I used to)
  • Added an option to display entries alphabetically instead of by level - it's an option under level range (alphabetically)
