Character Instance/Raid Progress Tracker

description

This one's a bit more complicated, but I think quite worthwhile overall.

I'd like to see a database of instances and raid bosses (level 60 and up at least), and the ability to mark which ones a character has been able to clear/defeat (tri-state: no attempt, Regular or Heroic). I'm picturing something like http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=1602253027&sid=1&pageNo=1, but on a character level instead of a guild level. I don't have any firm ideas on the interface, but perhaps one page would show 5-man instances the players have cleared, and another page shows the raid bosses (Kara and above) that the player has defeated.

This would then give the ability to easily view player progression, particularily after they hit level 70, and compare progression to the other players in the guild.

It's an interesting idea. It would require some logic be built into the module to account for progress and summarize.

My largest fear is that I (personally) lag so far behind many guilds using this module that I wouldn't know what would be important zones and the bosses to add.

I'll keep this in mind, but I would very much endorse some help in coding this one up. :)

BTW - this as a personal interest has gotten a lot more interesting. I am planning on doing this using achievements to drive it. This will be a v2 feature.

Likely looking at mid-summer for v2, unless there is strong interest from this community.
